Clutch Replacement
According to the dis repair instructions, a couple of special tools are required when reinstalling the self-adjusting pressure plate. Does anyone know if you need those tools to install a new self-adjusting pressure plate?

Yes, figured it out.
You do not need the special tools (other than the alignment tool for the disc) when you replace the pressure plate with new. You do need them to remove and replace a used pressure plate to reset the self-adjuster. |
