WTB: Skid Plates
hey everyone, looking for some skid plates, i guess RPI Skid Plates would be the ones that most people have. anyone tell me where i can get a set for my E86. Or if anyone is selling a set thats good too. thanks |

I've got em & like 'em . They work well until you accidentally scrape them up, then they show their bright aluminum guts. I have taken to putting a strip of 1/4" black 3m car door edge molding on the bottom of the plate before I [re]install it. It saves the worst of the wear on the plates. It's sold by the pack at auto supply stores, and it's less hassle than repainting the plates. Basically invisible once installed.
