Squeeky dash/center console above the ash tray

Hey guys..first off Happy Thanksgiving. This could probably wait until after the holiday but it seems like I've been living with this squeek since I purchased this car nearly 3 years ago. I've got the most annoying squeek in the console just above the ash tray where the heat seat/ top down buttons are. ( I've got a 2008 roadster). I've put a book of matches in the crevice there to help with the noise but it's still there, and unsightly. I'd hate to have to be without the car and take it to the dealer for this issue, but I might have to unless the fix is relatively simple...anyone else suffer from this issue and have an easy fix? Much appreciated. Enjoy the turkey!

Squeeks

I don't have that problem - but - I do know that squeaks in the dash are annoying and can be ANYWHERE behind the plastic and leather you are looking at. I had one on a brand new 300zx and it ended up being a welded area where two pieces of metal would rub when the car flexed. I has to take the entire dash out of the car to find it - took 3 days -bent the metal apart and injected silicone and never heard it again - pain in the ass.

I am sure it is worse with soft tops as the flex in the body would be more.

I have some that come and go with temperature changes. When its hot, its one and when its cold, its another. A louder exhaust will take care of it and probably cheaper too.

Mine has a few little noises too. Just turn up the radio. Or hammer down on the throttle
