TPMS question
This may be a dumb question, but what happens when you mount a set of wheels that don't have tire pressure monitors installed in the wheels? Will the TPMS light glow forever? Or will it realize the missing monitors and shut the system off?

If you have a model that has the actual transmitters inside the tires, the light will stay on. I believe the TPMS system using sensors started in late '06, early '07. Before that the system detected low pressure by the reduced radius of the low tire causing that wheel to spin faster than the others. There was no in the tire sensor.
