Indeed, its even greater having a million miles of headroom at night or during a nice day.
From what I can see, Hawkeye is still here some and Rosie comes and goes, lol.

Hi Guys...I'm still here...just been busy with life....YAHOO!!! Been working on dancing more since I can't afford to take drives IN the love of my life. Its just shy of $5.00 a gallon here.

I had a date 2 Saturday's ago and we hit it off.....but he's been stuck like glue since then. I had to shake him loose tonight, cause I need to work on friendship and he moved in way too quickly and way too tight. Can you say needy? So, just cause you get dates, doesn't mean its a good thing.

Just back today from a roadtrip to Paso Robles, about 3 hours and then on to Solvang about an hour from Paso with my daughter. She's SO cool!!! We had fthe top down and her ipod playing...cause my music is so lame. But I loved it.

Anyways....Ian and JHastings.....so sorry. Best to just relax and enjoy things, especially the car. I totally understand where you guys are at. If things aren't happening at least you guys are thinking about it. Kudos to you for that. HAWKEYE, hello, how you been?

Hey, if you all can do me a favor, and keep me busy on the forum so I don't have time to get into trouble with guys, i'd appreciate it.

Can do Rosie. Gas here is approaching the 4.50 mark, its hovering around 4.30 per gallon in south AL. I think you should give that guy another chance, sounds like he has good intentions but moves too quickly.

Yeah... now I just have to decide whether to be offended that nobody notices me anymore or happy that I have a good inter-personality...

Yah, I know, he is a very neat, intelligent guy that has MADE a life for himself, and he's a GREAT dancer, but shouldn't there be more...i mean desire? After a week, he's way to needy and I just can't hurt the guy. So best to cut the strings now.

Yah, slow is good. You just have to try to read what is the right speed by what signals she is giving out.

He is SUCH a gentleman, i've not met one quite like him since my husband. Opened doors and always made me feel taken care of. Old fashioned and great. NOW not all girls like old fashioned, but this girl sure does.

I've heard that you need to treat the guy/gal you like like the ones you don't like. Harder to do than to say though.

Honestly, eh?
I swear I spend half the time teasing her and the other half of the time being nice to her. I think I need to throw in more flirting.
Hoping I can score a 2nd date with her and take her to the drive-in.

Then again, this is a coworker... should I really be playing where I work?

So Rosie, if he's the old fashioned type you like? Why you gotta push him away?

Cause he's too needy, too old, and too short, and not functional enough for me? I wasn't sure if the unchangeable things would bother me. Does that make me sound bad? sheesh...didn't know we were going to do deep analysis here.....

Teasing is good.....its kinda like flirting, only without the sexual overtomes.

Playing where you work isn't too bad as long as they are in a different division/area. I have a lot of friends who work with their significant others.

I saw you Rosie, it was the second time I was asked about that I thought I should pipe in. You are too cute for me to miss

Aww, he's just old fashioned. Train him to not be so needy. LOL! I learned the hard way and have learned two VERY important words when a girl flakes on me. "No problem." Do you want to be the guy who calls her on it and pisses her off as being too needy, or do you want to be the guy who calls up another girl and has fun anyways? I'm aiming to be the latter. LOL.

Although I think I need to flirt with this girl more so I don't end up in the friend zone... oie...

Is it REALLY ok? I work with her, (same department), and we;re in very close proximity (she sits in the cubicle next to me). Although I'll be moving cubicles within a month, so I guess it makes it slightly better? LOL.

I'm so smitten I'm screwed...

On that note, driving around at night in the Z with the top down is simply magnificient... I can drive aimlessly for half an hour or even an hour and just cruise and explore new neighbourhoods.

Quite fun.

OMG, well, my opinion is that i'd not date someone in my department. closest I've dated is another building that I didn't work with...just saw him around and got introduced. I think its asking for trouble to date someone in your own department and in such close proximity.

Well, my logic is that we're on different teams so our work isn't necessarily related. And I'm not her boss or vice versa, so there's no conflict of interest.

I'm just curious what her take on the situation is. lol...

Oh, I'm gonna try asking her out on a 2nd date. Wish me luck.

pulled over

I left for work this morning and no sooner did i get on the road then some a-hole was right behind me this was at 5:30 in the morning so it was rather dark i was doing 50 in a 45. At the next road i pushed my car a little around the next bend which gave me a little space between us. I watched my speed which was 65 in a 60. Well here comes the vehicle again right up on my butt. So i put my blinker on a pulled over to the right side of the road so that i would not have to deal with this A-hole. So guess what the vehicle pulls up behind me and turns on his lights it is a sherrif so before he could even get to my window i asked officer can you tell me why you are driving on my butt. He says i pulled you over(which he did not do i pulled of the road before he turned his lights on) because you were doing 80 i said no way was i doing 80 so of course he asked for all my stuff licsene etc. So i sat there and waited five minutes and he walks back up to my car and hands me my stuff back and says have a nice day. No ticket no warning nothing so what was that all about? I guess i should have asked if i was doing 80 how come you did not give me a ticket?

LoL, I swear she's running lines on me sometimes!
Gives me the whole, what's your blood type and how we can never be friends routine.

Then tells me she has a boyfriend, then she has multiple boyfriends, then the boyfriend just came back in town. (Obviously lying), but I'm chalking that up to me telegraphing too much interest, so I'm gonna LJBF her. That's right. I told her "You're not my type, Let's just be friends, k?"

Rosie, seriously, why do girls respond so well to negative reinforcement?
It's like that family guy episode where quagmire calls the chick a dirty slut and to get the hell out, then she comes running back to him for nooky. LoL.

My x would probably know...he said the same thing...he used to treat women badly and they would flock, then he treats them nice and no one comes around.

I don't like being treated badly....so am pretty sure I don't fit, and can't explain it to you....probably another guy can do better.

Right now I'm asking the question, "explain guys to me", cause I sure as heck don't get them. Guess its the eternal question....guys don't get gals and gals don't get guys....and life goes on.
