Tips in putting back the side mirror?

Hi,

I've removed the mirror caps to plasti dip them. Any tips on how to put the mirrors back on? I understand there is a little notch that needs to be slid back (the reverse of removal) but I can't seem to get it to slide and lock.

Any tip would be appreciated. Thanks!

I found it easier to do from the bottom with the bottom cover removed, rather than from the top as explained in the TIS.

Thanks inTgr8r! I'll look into it

P.S. Every time I see your username around the forum it reminds me of an "Integra Type R" :P

On the M mirrors there's a small cover on the bottom held on by a couple of screws.
With that cover off, I found it much easier to rotate that locking disc.

...that's funny, I never thought about the type R, but I see what you mean.
It's actually a derivative of occupation (systems integrator)
