Quick question regarding timing. If I read the original post correctly, GB ends May 5, then 30 days lead time + 30 days manuf/ship = delivery early July? Is that right? Thanks.

Yes, but DKF is hoping to do much better than that.
The main issue is getting a production run scheduled with the fabricator. That can't be scheduled until we have final numbers & everyone has paid. If they happen to be in the middle of a production run for other products, the ours has to wait until the next window. ....if the production window is available right away, then things will move quicker.

I have had that mod on the back burner for a while now, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Will do. Doesn't seem like many E85/86 owners have done this, but everyone who has raves about it. Lots of debate on the M3 boards, as some say the extra shifts cancel out the increased acceleration, etc., but again, those that took the plunge seem really happy. I'm aiming primarily for increased driving pleasure on the street, so I have high hopes!

Can someone explain the added benefit to this over our stock Sec1?
I'd like to jump on the GB, but I need to know what it adds over what I already have. Our stock Sec1 have nice small well-made 200 cell cats. My headers have done away with the larger primary set. I've already added bungs and relocated the O2's & EGT sensors, and have no CEL after thousands of miles and various track-days. So what's the advantage of these if they're less free flowing? They look pretty, but I need a valid reason beyond that |
