Undercarriage Cleaning

Do any of you guys ever clean the undercarriage of your Z4, and by cleaning, I don't mean just hitting it with a pressure sprayer or driving through a touchless carwash with an underbody sprayer. I've heard of folks using degreasers, kerosene, etc. Anyone have any real world experience?

Thanks!

Salty

Purple power, simple green and wd40...diesel works well too if you want to let parts soak in it

My car is on stands all winter and so I almost always get under there to check for any leaks etc.
Invariably I find somewhere that looks dirty and get out the simple green and clean.
I always clean the fender liners and armour all them
I have put so much time and effort into suspension and things that you can’t see I want to keep them looking as fresh as possible.

For really greasy areas diesel is a great cleaner.

Pride of ownership is a great thing

I’ve used Orange Degreaser followed by Bare Bones with good results. All from Chemical Guys.
On some caked on oil I used Metal Parts Cleaner from Castrol.
The only thing under there I cant make look good is the aluminium bits. Do you have any tips?

Spray diesel saturating the part or let it soak in a tub of it and it'll come out looking new
