DRL lights

I have read in the manual that there is an option for such kind of lights in my zed. I need some kind of coding? I want the inner ring to lights up when I switch to auto, because when NOW I switch to auto at 1 am on a sunny day, my lights are completly off.

So wait, when you turn your switch to Auto turn on, nothing happens when it's night time? you may have a bad switch partner.

When I switch to AUTO yes my lights are working fine in a tunnel or so. They work in the evening BUT in the daytime on AUTO my lights are completly off.
I need inner rings to join in as DRLs, like for example leds in early Audis.
I need lights 24/7 by law, but I do not want my D2S to be on when it is 13 am. Just inner rings I think you can call them DRLs. Am I right in this?
Same as you put switch into parking lamps? I guess?

The programming is more like you can choose to activate or not activate the default options that BMW provides within the coding...and that still may not work.

For example, I wanted my fogs as DRL (since I don't have halos).

The coding went like this (as an example):

Highbeams DRL
-not active
Lowbeams DRL
-not active
Foglights DRL
-active

Which should have worked, but didn't I had no DRLs. So you'd have to get in there and play around which would take some time between loading up one change at a time and seeing if it works. You'd have to pull the module data first to even see if what you want is an option.

Hope that helps!
