cheers bro.... i think Ess should release vt2-550 for this car, us VT2 owners have got all the hardware needed now, then again with my higher boost, i think im getting slightly more power than most, i actually saw 8psi today on the gauge, i have peak recall so its very easy to park up and see what ive just ran.

AFRs are in the 12.5, so nice and safe numbers..... car feels really good with this power.

ok so im working hard on making this kit put out as close to 500rwhp as possible WITHOUT adding more boost, im already putting out around .8-1 psi extra than it should be...... either way AFRs are safe some im not complaining.....

But i want to build a response monster so im making some real nice engine mods to try and gain alittle more power without touching my s/c unit, i will however data-log and see what Ess can do with my tune..

i will be adding Schrick cams, Larger bore throttle bodies, Larger bore custom exhaust with cat delete pipe ( v-band system), meth/water injection purely for lower AITs as per fr8tdogs post ( he gained +30hp doing this), port and polish work.

Man, that's some serious work and some serious supporting mods.

That ought to make for some fun with a few GT3s at the track!

Looking good! I'm hoping to go s/c in the near future.

On your last picture you have something covering your driver seat. Is that a seat cover?

yeah, my goal is 500rwhp too.... I'm in the talks now with my shop, they're waiting to hear back from ESS about pricing. I decided that instead of paying for a tune and relocation of sensors to install my euro headers, i'd rather put that money towards a supercharger which I was planning to get in a few years anyway. hahaha. saving a grand on the header install, but spending thousands on what I'm REALLY after.

ok ok ok so today i got my "new Intake" from ess, and i just had to fit this immediatly, i took some nice shots of the further upgrades ive done to the Ess kit... im so pleased the new intake came in as my old one really looked rough, you guys make sure you get your shop to treat this piece with extra care as you can damage it by simply running you finger nails down it!! and it looks horrific once its scratched up.... anyhow shes FINALLY back to how it should look........

new intake

Super strong braided Hose, i replaced the rubber one that ess use as its looks terrible on the top of the engine but also i could see abrasion marks where it has rubbed, so i went for this extra strong hose.... i had to cut this with an angle grinder it was so strong.....On top of everything it also looks great in the engine bay.

Brand new Supercharger

completely re routed wiring for s/c intake temp sensor/gauge sender wiring (using stock sheathing)

vortech v3 Si Trim unit

new intake all blacked up and looking great (note 85mm pulley)

overall engine bay shot

Now this is the the s/c braid hose line, this piece wasnt touching the chassis rail but was close so i used some of the braided line protector from my AP BBK install, i then added some heavy duty black tape to further protect the braided line and chassis rail paint in the extemes of use.....

The devil is in the details :-)
first trackday with the VT2 happens in 2.5 weeks, camera lady is back and ready to record so expect some great footage of this thing being used properly.... A massive thankyou for simpson motorsport for being top sports with the damaged bits and together with ESS replacing the s/c and intake.... we all make mistakes and these guys made these niggles painless!! thanks!!

ESS continue to show me why i made the choice i did!!!

those v12 hankooks are going to need replacing with the 500kit for sure..... you'll be cutting those loose every time you rouch the pedal.

You mentioned you're having traction issues with pilot supersports too though, right? Maybe I need an extreme performance summer tire

I had 285s on the car, but at stock height, they protruded about 4mm. I think since I'm lowered on H&R, I could roll the rear fenders and get a way with it..
