It's that sad time of year to start putting the toys away for the winter. If the weather is nice there may still be an opportunity to get another ride but overall the season is done

I haven't done very much to it since I've had it. The biggest change is I actually raised it up slightly, about 3 threads on the coilovers at each corner. It was just too low to manage my roads and to be honest it handles better and doesn't rub anymore. I also changed out the radio knob for one with the brushed metal look trim, put in a black anodized metal dipstick, and install an OEM factory iPod interface and added a Bluetooth module so I now have Bluetooth audio.

Mostly I'm just driving it whenever I can

I'm looking at the long range forecast. It's still decent for the next few weeks, about 10C everyday so I'm going to try to get a few more quality miles on it before it's time to tuck it in. My wife and I went to a couple of wineries yesterday, had a really nice drive back along the bottom of the escarpment on the twisties. I'm hoping for a mild winter with no snow or salt so I may get to play with the new toy.

It doesn't snow here so mine technically doesn't get put away, although I'll drive it less in the winter because it takes forever for 10W60 to warm up. My commute is too short.

Having said that, it was 75F today, and next week looks great too, so I got to enjoy the Z.

I feel bad for you guys that have to put them away. It's going to be 80 and sunny tomorrow in NC. That's unseasonably warm for us, but we're likely to have a warm dry winter due to the La Niña effect this year, so many more days of top down driving. Even in Feb, we'll get 60, 65 degree days now and then. It's just not worth it to put it up around here. My wife and I just drove back from a little diner with the top down at 8:30 PM on Nov 2. Awesome!
