Hey, hey, sometimes it is hard to know if a guy likes you or your car better. I agree with Angel. I am pretty watchful of how the guy reacts to my car. And if he always wants to take my car....not a good sign.

I let one x-cop drive it thinking he knew how to drive and he wouldn't give me back the keys which irritated me. Needless to say it was the last time I saw him.

Mark that one down to lessons learned.

Rosie, funny you should mention how guys think about a dame's car.

A few years ago I became a bachelor after 26 years of marriage. When I started meeting women again I'll confess I was very conscious of what they drove. Now that I think about that it seems silly and superficial but sometimes car choice does say something about people.

Lemme see here...the starving artist in her old Volvo.....nah. The upscale realtor lady in the Lincoln Town Car, kinda glitzy for me. The red head designer in her Miata, she got away. The rich painter in her Audi TT.....hmmmm, nice car but she was too crazy, liked vodka too much. And finally, my real live now and forever sweetheart; when we met she drove a nice little Toyota Rav4. The only one of these women's cars I wanted to drive was the Audi TT but I never asked and she never offered.

Me? Mean? Never! I wasn't trying to be mean at all. It was kind of a teenagerish thing to say, that's all. No big deal. I used to have that kind of opinion too at one point.

With an attitude like mine - I scare most women off despite my car - just want to separate the ones who like the car and the ones who are interested in knowing me with my bad attitude Once they stick around even after I give them a tough time - then I start being charming!

Hey you guys are supposed to say, "sheesh what a dweeb he was, so glad you got your keys back and lost the guy".

Now for my Dr. Seuss "I don't drink coffee in the zed.....I don't drink coffee in the bed.....I don't drink coffee at all." It was a chocolate frap.

Nah, I don't give a rat's if enfield thinks I'm 'old'. He's not too far behind and time goes fast. He hasn't even reached peak yet ! I'm not interested in less-than anyway . I'm sure he'll find some sweet girl who'll bow down and wash his feet...but it won't be me!!!
Enfield knows I have a special place in my for him. No harm meant.
