Yup bought the fronts today, but have to find a proper shop for ballancing as there was a vibration at around 110-130 on the way home. (That's kms/h)

Any idea what tire px should be for the front 235/40r18?

I'm debating whether to get 235/40 and 265/35 or 235/45 and 265/40 on my 8.5x18/10x18. The tiers will be 10 mm wider than stock, however the diameter of the tire is closer to stock if I don't go down to 40 (front) and 35 (rear). But maybe it will rub if I don't go down in dimension.

Yup, fronts at around 33psi and rears 38psi or so...
I just noticed the guys rebalancing my front tires pointed me to a scratch/ding from a tire bar, when I got my new fronts put on. Not happy. it's only small, about 2cm wide by 3 mills inwards from the rim, but bloody hell...
Sigh. It's been one of those months... :/

As long as the tire doesn't "rub" or comes in contact with anything during suspension compression, you should be fine. There are a few people running your indicated size without issues. However, some do report "rubbing". So, it may depend on the tire model as not all 275s are created equal

So if you want to go 19" it should be
2XX / 40 / 19
2XX / 35 / 19

?

19" are NOT stock. Needs more info. See post #5. Any comments without those additional info would be meaningless.

Assuming your car is a Z4M, Here's what worked for me without rubbing and is currently on my car:
Front - 19x8.5et35 with 245/35R19 Continental Extreme DW
Rear - 19x9.5et25 with 275/30R19 Continental Extreme DW
