Do you know what goes there?

Happy Easter!

OK, There is 2 empty areas that hold something when you open the cover to the rear storage compartment when open and laying flat--Looks as if it holds a pen or tire gage? The other has a velcro loop? Does anybody know what they hold??

Could be a traditional tire gage (I keep a pen in mine) and the BMW rechargeable flashlight.

I saw one car that had a small calculator in the phone/flashlight spot. He had used double-sided tape. Very clean looking. Said he used to calculate gas mileage. Wondered how he could afford a BMW...

BTW, I bought Griots small rechargeable flashlight that I just leave in the cigar lighter. Very cool.

That's what I usually hear people say, but I met this doctor the last at the dealer, and the conversation wondered onto the little things in the car (he has a black 3.0si roady) and he said he uses that for a pad and pen.
But I personally think that is an awkward place for it.

BMW makes accessory phone kits that fit into the larger hole.

I've got a pen in the smaller one and a digital tire gauge under the velcro. A hat in the lower box for top-down weather, and a V1 radar detector and some non-perishable snacks in the top!
