In the market...

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a Z4 M Coupe and have found a specific one that seems to be a fantastic option. I'm just wondering if there are any specific issues you should look for when buying one of these, especially a 2006, first model year right?

For example, my previous car was an E46 M3 and they have subframe issues amongst a couple of other things. Is there anything like that on the M Coupes?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

There are motor mount bolt issues on the MC's and rear sway bar mount issues as well(both well documented on the forums). Other than that not much to worry about. I would ask to have the engine mount bolts changed under the TSB, (it will likely be denied so just buy the upgraded bolts and have it done at an indie or by you.)

The motor-mount bolts are a big issue; but not specific to MY2006. All Z4M's have this problem.
Not an issue (and easily added), but the AUX input was added for 07-08.

2007 also added the active Tire Pressure Monitor System, so if you change wheels you need to by a 2nd set with 2007+ cars (or just ignore the light).
