The stock photo shows and E89 but if you look at the video it's clearly an E85 with the black soft top.

Either that or he didn't roll down the window before shooting? Either way I hope this guy gets caught, definitely not something worth taking a life over.

Nutshell update to this story:

Dinh Bowman, 30, was arrested last September and charged with the murder of Yancy Noll, a well-liked Seattle wine steward, after pulling up next to him at a traffic stop, possibly after a traffic altercation, and shooting five shots with a 9mm handgun, hitting the victim three times in the head. One bullet was found in the dashboard of the victim's car and another was found inside a nearby home. Bowman lived 1/2 mile from the murder scene.

Eye witnesses and a surveillance camera identified the car as a BMW Z4. An anonymous caller identified Bowman as owning a BMW Z4 (an M Roadster) and having "anger management issues". He modified his car by painting it and replacing the tires, and hid it in his garage to avoid recognition. Paint supplies and his old tires were found in the trash behind his business. He and his wife drove to Portland (from Seattle) to have the passenger window replaced, which he apparently broke when he shot through it. There were videos showing the police loading his M Roadster onto a flatbed and hauling it away as evidence. He has a concealed weapons permit and posted videos online that show him running a target obstacle course with a .45, showing that he was an excellent marksman. He has been held without bail since his arrest.

His wife, a local dentist, was also later arrested and charged for her involvement in the cover up. A search of her purse turned up receipts for the tires, paint, and tape. Much more info on this story can be found by Googling Dinh Bowman or his wife, Jennifer Leah Bowman.

Latest update: A bail hearing will be held on Monday to have him released on $1 million bond, bringing strong objections from the prosecutor's office. Bowman’s legal team included 11 letters from friends of the suspect to support their push for him to be released on bail. In the letters, friends described Bowman as “thoughtful,” “kind” and “generous.”
