Hello ZPost! (NOOB CONTENT)
What up everyone!
New guy here and I just got a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i 6-speed! It's also my first BMW so it's pretty exciting Here are some crappy low quality pics from my iPhone that I apologize in advance for hahah I LOVE this car! I came from a 2002 Lexus IS300 (automatic ) here she was while prettied up: I don't see many Z4's in my area so it's another added bonus! I can't wait to get it registered soon so I can take it on long summer drives! |

Welcome to the forum!
I use to LOVE those Lexus IS300's and wanted one for the longest time, but could never afford it. You'll love the Z4. Not to scare you, but you may wanna find a local reputable BMW repair shop (not a dealer). The reason I mention this is because there may be minor maintenance/repairs needed at times and unless you're handy it's $$$ to repair if you go to the dealer....very similar to Lexus I suppose. They have their quirks, but BMW's are great cars.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome
Yes I loved that IS300 but the love started wearing off after a while. Automatic got boring, 17mpg sucked and I wanted a 2 seater sports car for the longest time! No more taxi games hahah I now know why people like BMW....it's not the badge (I'm talking about enthusiasts) it's thr drive. The Lexus felt like an economy car with a bit of sporty injected into it. This feels like a racecar tamed for everyday driving . I can even imagine the M versions. I have a question though: where can I get HID/Xenon lights for this? BMW dealership? I really got used to the IS300s HIDs at night but the z4 has halogens |
