Question How much do you pay for insurance on your M per month?

Per month, how much do you pay for insurance on your Z4M and let us know what your insurance company is. This could help us all find a better rate and give others an idea of what to expect.

M coupe, I'm 24, VA, clean record, full coverage with Geico, $500 ded.
$120/month

I'm an idiot, I didn't realize it was per month so I put down $300+!

I pay about $80/month with Progressive. Clean record. It's my first car insurance policy ever so I could probably get a better rate if I shopped around again. Full coverage. Nothing skimped on. $500 deductible. Oh and I'm 25 which is the point when most insurance companies stop dinging you for being "young" and, therefore, dumb.

I changed the title so people don't get confused. I sure hope I can go down to $80/month once I hit that 25 age.

late 20s, engineer, Seattle.

I pay around $105 - 110ish. But I have a previous accident which increases the rates quite a bit in Seattle. Also they don't count my years in Turkey. They used to do that when I was in San Diego. So I look like I have been driving for less than 3 years whereas it is almost 10. They consider me as a teeneger in short. I believe I would be paying around $60-70 without these negative factors. I use AAA.

I used to think it was only the "kids" that got dinged for car insurance. I just turned 50 last year and it turns out that the rates start going back up again at 50. Not a lot but I can't believe that here I've NEVER had an accident that I caused (got hit from behind once or twice) and my rates are going up. Just goes to show you that they get you coming and going.

No M, 25, I live in Iowa... okay, that's all I got going for me.

500 deductible on all vehicles, full coverage on 2008 Titan, 2007 3.0si Coupe, 2008 R6 and house insurance all comes out to $141 a month... can't remember exactly what the breakdown is but I am assuming it is <100 and possibly <50.

But again, not an M.

Well, I don't have the Mcoupe anymore, but I will say that my insurance dropped when I added the 08M3(E90) by $28/month. M3 vs. Mcoupe same deuctible and everything else. I know it's a 4door vs. 2seater but the M3 is like $15k more. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I do miss my Mcoupe.....

not an M but thought I'd chime in.

2003 3.0, $102/month with Progressive. $500 ded. 25 years old. they were the cheapest i could find and i must have gotten quotes from 10 or 11 insurance companies before i chose them.

Nothing on my record.

Who's paying 200-300?

When I was 19 I was paying $300/month for my 95 M3 through Allstate. I had a few speeding tickets... Didn't know any better. Then I ran though some standing water during a tropical storm trying to get home and water got sucked in through the intake and cracked the block, totaled it. After that Allstate wanted me to pay $480/month for insurance... I switched to Geico and was paying $200 instead. I don't like Allstate.

With Geico, I'm at about $102/month, 40 years old, no accidents/tickets, $100 deduct, 100/500/100. Shopping around, I find rates starting at $220/month with progressive and allstate and farmers. Geico is still the best rate for my zip code however and it goes down each 6 month renewal.

Thumbs up GEICO

$75 per month with GEICO for $300K/$500K/$100K Liability, $1,000 deductible Collision/Comprehensive, $50K/$100K/$100K Underinsured Motorist. Clean driving record and no claims history.
I chose GEICO because their exclusion clause does not exclude claims for loss caused by participation in driving school events. They do exclude claims for loss caused by participation in or preparation for any racing, speed, or demolition CONTEST or stunting activity of any nature whether or not prearranged or organized.

Don't have an ///M, but the 3.0si is costing me about $40/month with $0 ded and $100k/$300k coverage. It's the the third car on the policy which also includes the house. Much cheaper that way. AAA insurance. Other two cars (X5 and Honda Civic) are both a bit less, but pretty close.

I'm paying $228 per month. That is full coverage with a $250 deductible. That covers a 2004 Jeep Rubicon and a 2007 Z4 M Roadster. I am 40 years old. Insurance is through USAA. This is actually the cheapest rate for Germany.

Nice! I didn't know that. So now I don't have to worry so much whenever I take my car to the track for FATT or BMWCCA events

$59.70/month with a $500 deductible in Austin, TX. Married and 41. That's through USAA with two other cars on the policy, and a number of little discounts they give me for doing so much business with them and for dramatically reducing the number of cars I've driven into stuff in recent years...
