What are you doin' buying a front plate bracket? Our cars look soooo much nicer without a front plate. I've lived in MN for several years and never once was hassled about my front plate unless I was parked. I now keep a small piece of black velcro on the front of my car and would just attach the plate if I parked on the street where the front of the car was visible.

Why? Because when i'm out and about on Fri/Sat nights I don't want certain kinds of attention Plus, i'm in the heart of the city and just don't want to be hassled.

Never had an issue getting settings changed at the dealer. They've never charged me. Maybe because the Z4 is my fourth car purchased from them?

I use my headlights all the time, day or night, but don't like DRLs set to keep me from making the choice. The feature I'd like to see is for headlights to come on with windshield wipers. I see so many morons driving on the highway in a downpour with no lights on. No way truckers can see them trying to pass with all the mist off their tires.

The answer is NO, they will charge you around $180 for that. All you have to do to is simply have your headlight on turned to Automatic AND press the fog lights button and you will have your headlights and fog lights on at the same time during the day hours. You simply have to do that every time you turn on the engine, it takes about 1 second LOL.

Another trick I wasn't aware of. Thanks.

When I picked up my car there was a list of things they could program for me. The only one I recall is the locks being that you could have them all unlocked with one push or only the driver side and the headlights to have the daytime on all the time the engine is going. Not sure what the other choices were just now.

Saw a link in the Audi forum about a $150 piece of equipment that you buy and you can program your car yourself. You get all upgrades and can make as many changes as you like. I will look up the link and post it.
