BMW Carbon Fiber Strut Brace $267.95 + Shipping.
I thought that I would post up this deal I saw over on E46Fanatics. The BMW Carbon Fiber Strut Brace is for sale for $267.95 at BMWpartssource.com http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...er+strut+brace If you call to place your order request the half price shipping. I think the total price turns out to be about 283 and change. |

From what I have been told and researched is this:
1. Replica ACS E46 Strut Braces fit Z4s. 2. The BMW Performance Strut Brace needs to be removed for adding motor oil in facelifted Z4 thats why it doesn't fit. I will let everyone know if it fits as I already have it ordered. Worst case scenario if it doesn't fit I am out like 5 bucks that it costs to ship it back. |

i know what you're talking about having to remove the oil cap since that's what i do with my oem z4 brace but i don't think the oem e46 bar will work. for the price of this e46 bar, i'd pay jsut few extra dollars get the oem one, albeit it's not carbon fiber |

Thanks Dubbedown for your input. But If anything I can give this strut brace a shot and see if it fits. I just figure that if the E46 Replica Strut braces fit the Z4s, maybe, just maybe the E46 BMW Carbon Fiber one might fit and clear the engine. There is no better way to find out if it fits than to test fit that sucker.

I'm 98% sure that it does not fit.
I've seen discussion on this before.

Ah damn, wish they had this deal around when I was shopping for a brace for the ZHP.
CJW2004, if it doesn't fit, I may still be interested in taking it off your hands. |
