I pod installation
Can anybody help me out? Installing Ipod P/N 65 11 0 035 962 that goes in the glove compartment in a 2005 Z4. Everything was fine until I got to the wiring, following instructions to a T and it said to remove wires 9,12, and 15 from the radio harness, the only problem is I do not have pin #15 I got pin #16. Is it the same or what? The color of the wire is suppose to be RT/GN but I can not really tell that #16 is RT/GN. What does RT/GN mean in colors? I should know this but I am stumped. Maybe it is just getting late. Thanks Car 5.

Ron, reading the *** and it says not compatible with production 10/02-02/06 with DSP. I have a DSP radio. Did the dealer sell me the wrong one?
Yes there is a wire in #15 red/yellow. Do you think I should return and purchase after market or different one that mounts in the rear trunk? Thanks for your help, I do appreicate it. Car 5 |
