Is no one going to answer? Muffler shops have worked great for my nsx's and a Viper too.
How do the magnaflows sound on the Coupe, what part number and what are the best sources? We had all this information documented on nsxprime. |

I think the only person that has fitted the Magnaflow mufflers to a Z4M so far is Palantirion off of Bimmerfest.com. Although the BMS cat back exhaust that he is running is a completely custom set up that only uses the magnaflow mufflers. The mufflers have to modified though in order for the tips to be able to exit into the stock cut outs in the rear bumper. If you go on the bimmerfest Z forums you can read all about it in Palantirions thread.

Sorry I'm late, been super busy. F360C is correct about the mufflers needing to be seriously revised. I'd tell you what the part number is, but I don't know it. If you really want to know, I can probably find out after I get back from SEMA. But unless you are a pro welder you REALLY don't want to try this as a DIY. Even with the jig already made it still takes about 10 hours of cutting, grinding and welding to make a set of cans that fit perfectly. Remember that Magnaflow doesn't make mufflers for the Z4 M, that's why I had to go the custom route.
