FS Racing Brake Front Rotors (New)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
Up for sale Racing Brake slotted front rotors and ET300 pads. 600 USD local pickup (Sacramento CA), can be shipped, but price with shipping will depend on location. These cost a bit more than OE or Turner replacements (at ~500), but cost about the same on per mm basis, but rotor rings are replaceable and the hat is reusable. Original group buy was $711.00.

These are brand new, never used, and have a 30mm in thickness, unlike stock (or stock replacements) which are 28mm. OE rotors have a permissable wear of 1.6mm, but Racing Brake have a 2mm permissible wear level. Racing Brake rotors are also harder than OE which are ~145 on the Brinell hardness scale, Stoptech rotor are ~171, RacingBrake rotors have tested at ~193. As with a BBK, the rotor rings can be replaced if/when they're worn while retaining and reusing the stock hats.

Some right here on Zpost have run these exact rotors for over 4 years and 4,000 miles of track duty and with still room for more. These are a solid product.

Fits perfectly with stock brake calipers while providing a performance (and longevity) upgrade.

Thanks guys. Great product--I simply don't need them with the BBK direction I took the car.

Right on, if anyone is interested in these they could pair them with a set of Brembo calipers from a Porsche 996, along with the Rally Road brackets, lines, and such. You'll essentially have a Brembo BBK for around $1500 depending on how you paint the calipers. With these two piece rotors, they will even look the part. You can't beat that.
