Roundel Sizes

Hi all,

I'm considering switching all badging over to monotone/carbon fiber on my M roadster and am curious about sizes for the roundels. As I measure them, I am getting the following diameters...just want to confirm before I order...

trunk roundel - 80mm
side light roundels - 80mm
hood roundel - 70mm (is this one special to the Z's? I thought I had read that they have a slight curve)
wheels - I have new anthracite EC7s that came with caps that seem to have 62mm badges...will get 62mm BMW CF roundels
steering wheel roundel - 45mm

For the 80mm and 70mm I measured, is this the correct size or is it 82mm and 72mm? These seem to be more common sizes.

Thx

The front is the odd one Mike @ 70 mm
You can get a 72mm to work though.

I installed the CF Roundels on my roadster.
The problem is that the bumper is curved ( pic )
, but with a little custom work on the Roundel & under it on the bumper, it will work.

This a 72 on my roadster, the highlighted areas is where the curve is a problem.
But when it's done it's nice & flush.

I thought I had read a post from you about that before, thanks Ian. If I go ahead, I'll drop you a line to figure out the front.

I have been reading about a set that has a proper fitting front emblem. Are the different between roadsters and coupes?
