FS: 07 Interlagos Z4M Coupe
SOLD. Year: 2007 Mileage: ~29,500 as of 3/23/12 Packages: Fully loaded, except for extended leather Price w/ all modifications: SOLD. Location: West Virginia Intro: Changes happening around the workplace, and first baby on its way---looks like I may be selling the 2007 Z4MC for something more practical. I'm the second owner. Car is garaged at home, and at work. I feel like I take extremely good care of this car. All work up to November 2011 was done at bmw (have papers). I have replaced the differential oil and transmission oil on my own in the last 5000 miles. Oil change is coming up in 1800 miles, and I will change with OEM parts in the next month if car doesn't sell. There is a scrape (from a scrape-and-run) on the rear bumper (see pics). In the interest of full disclosure, there was an impact with a raccoon last autumn, which chipped the front fang. I elected to replace entire front bumper. Hate to let this thing go, but circumstances change I guess. . . Modifications include: Rays Engineering Volk RE30 18x8 and 18x9.5 Forged rims wrapped in Bridgestone re760. Rear tires are 95% new. Fronts have about 50% tread left. TPMS installed--therefore no lights on the dash. Slight curbing on one of the rear rims. Do not have stock rims anymore. RPI Scoop. Stromung Exhaust (less than 1000 miles, stock exhaust available, take off $500 off price if you just want stock exhausts). Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) already installed. Stainless steel brake lines (Stoptech) installed on the front. OEM engine strut bar. Clear Bra on front bumper and front hood area. ZHP shift knob. Front reflectors decal in body color (removable). Engine mount bolts preventatively replaced at 21,000 miles. Now, the bad: Driver's side rear bumper was scratched when a silver porsche boxster pulled out of the parking space next to the my car without looking. Parabola shaped scratch measuring about 8 inches. Clearcloat damage only. Depending on how long the car sits without selling, I may elect to respray the scrape and adjust the price accordingly. Below are the worst possible shots of the scrape. It is only clear coat damage, and does NOT look as bad as these pictures suggest. Please let me know if I can provide any more information / pictures. Serious buyers only. NOT LOOKING TO PART OUT FOR NOW. Thank you.

Nice IL blue with extras, GLWS and baby!
BTW, did you try machine buffing out the bumper? I would suspect you could clean it up quite a bit with a bit of work.

GLWS. Sorry to see you go. If I were in the market, I'd jump on this. Well maintained, great condition (raccoons and Boxsters--no biggie--not a consideration), tasteful and well considered fixes (CDV, engine bolt) and mods. Wonderful color combo, love the wood with this mix. Folks, if you're in the market, this is one to consider!
(Note: You can always put a baby seat in the passenger seat! Consider an E90 M3 as a replacement--practical, very comfortable, but can kick **** when you want it too.) Last edited by Finnegan; 03-24-2012 at 05:34 PM.. |

Thanks all for your wishes. I was hoping I wouldn't have to sell--and I was definitely using the passenger side LATCH system as an excuse, but I need the money for a new family car for my wife (honda pilot?) and I'm finding out more and more that this car owns me rather than me owning it. Oh, how I wish I could park it anywhere without worry and take it on any road without wondering whether I will scrape.
I might trade down for a old honda s2000. Budgeting around 18000 for one. Not sure.

Did you try wet sanding and buffing that out? You may be able to atleast improve the look
