Interlagos blue pic request, convincing a potential buyer..
My brother is looking to get a new car, or new to him. He's looking for a Z4MR. I told him not to make the same mistake I did and to go for the coupe. I love the top down drives, but the coupe is sex on wheels! He says the interlagos blue is dull and boring. IMO, it's the ideal color on the Z4MC, what I originally wanted. Google pics aren't that great from what I found.
Calling out IB Z4M owners: please post the best picture you have of your interlagos blue, TIA! |

It can be a hard color to photograph, but in person it is a great color!

It changes hues very subtly under different lights. VERY difficult to photograph.
I don't know how anyone who's seen it in person can call it "dull."

I spotted an IB Z4M roadster here one day last fall and it was a cloudy day. As I recall it, I think that Spedracer81's second photo is spot on for those kind of lighting conditions.

Yep. That pretty much says it. See how it varies from a very dark blue to a light blue to a subtle "purple" in that one single shot?
dschultz shot is pretty darn accurate for a sun-lit shot. But under the shade, it will change. Most of that purple hue will disappear. See dorifto88's shot in the garage.

Beautiful pictures!! Thanks a lot guys. We have NEVER seen a IB Z4M. In my area, there's about 3-4 Z4M's in total, including mine. I've seen 2 IB roadsters, which looked "dull". I guess it was the time of day

Here's my IB obsession! I'm in love with the color. Like others have said, it looks very different depending on the lighting.

I think I'm in denial but I may be obsessed as well...
So bad that I want to sell my black Z4MR to buy an IB Z4MC. I just don't know if I should act now or wait until I'm done paying it off |

KevinC your pictures are the ones persuading me to sell my car ASAP! I have the first one you posted on my phone wallpaper and at work
Ive been asking coworkers what they think about the car on the computer screen. Some replies were, "it's gorgeous", "it's a beautiful color", "it's badass, I see you in it", and a few other comments. It's sad how no one knew that it's the exact same car I drive but in a black convertible version lol :/ |
