btw this kit is rated @ 450hp :-)

heres the bumpf from the the gpower site

G-POWER supercharger system SK I "Sporty Drive"
Basis: Z4 M, 343 hp (252 kW) increased to 450 hp (330 kW)/ 460 Nm
consisting of:

Belt Drive:
ultra stiff CNC shaped supercharger bracket system made from cast aluminium including an extended support-aggregate belt drive for the supercharger´s drive;

Air Intake Manifold:
racing air filter;
flow optimized clean air intake with large diameters made from cast aluminium;

Forced Induction/Intercooling:
ASA T1 518 supercharger with centrifugal clutch ASA K07 (optional);
supercharger lubrication through bypass from motor oil circuit;
air/water recuperator with front mount intercooler;
engine inlet manifold made from cast aluminium;
pneumatic, load-dependent boost regulation
boost level approx. 5,8 psi rel.;

Engine Modification:
6 racing spark plugs with modified heat values.

Fuel Management/Electronics:
adaptation of the software of the standard electronic engine control unite (BMW OBD remains fully preserved), enabling an unlimited top speed according to the capacity of the tyres;
6 x fuel injectors with enlarged mass flow.

interestly this blower needs nearly 6psi to make the power the ess unit does @ 4.5-5psi, this is where the flow characteristics come in for each blower, that big vortech can make upto 750hp with no mods just a pulley change, the ASA unit needs to be swapped out to the top units, this unit is maxed out by 550hp..... That said our Vortech units lack Tq, what our cars need imo..... This kit @ 450hp will gain significantly in TQ due to the nature of the asa units...... make no mistake, this will be a very fast car....

interestingly they tune with MAF in place.... i say it again the hardware looks fanatastic!!
look forward to seeing how the AFRs look on this....

Actually we are the first to buy this kit we dont even have a clear installation instruction G-Power did install it on the E46 M3 and E46 M3 CSL anyway this kit now in G-Power Web Sit is 450HP as you said and thats ture I discovered that 2 days ago and I donno why they have changed again from 470 to 450 because we bought it with 470HP we asked them to rise it to 500HP they refuse to do it they said 470HP is the maximum HP they could rise to make the engine in safe mood. Anyhow, our Kit is 470HP I'll make some dyno runs I'll make Videos also. Hope to make a good Number.

One thing i want you to notice your ECU has the pulley size labelled on it ;-) 140mm..... now 140mm on the asa unit is 5.5-5.9 psi of boost, i promise the kit you have is the 450kit.......which is rated @ 5.8psi, so that ties in :-) im certain it'll make close to 460-465bhp however....
im not trying to be an ass im just pointing out that you do infact have the 450kit :-) And if you do infact have a higher boosting pulley your ECU in your car is tuned for 5.8ish psi as it clearly states "pulley 140mm", which means any boost over this will cause a dangerous lean condition.

its like my ess stage 2, i can simply say to ess, make my kit with 25hp more??? it needs to be tuned for that...... and more to the point, they want you to pay for the extra power :-)

i think what you mean is the 450kit usually makes 470bhp?? Either way everything im seeing is just awesome, and look serious quality!!! Im really pleased we have another FI owner in the fold....

No, it was listed as 470BHP but G-Power have changed it. G-Power listed it again as 450BHP. I was comparing the both G-Power and ESS in an old thread I posted before that was maybe 1 year ago but the time I decided to buy the kit. G-Power rise it to 470BHP and I said wow it's a great deal. I've been checking some of the stuff 2 days ago and I saw that they got it down to 450BHP

@ that boost i thing youll make over 450hp anyway..... for example, we make 445hp on 4.5psi, 500hp @ 7psi, i run an 8psi pulley and get alittle more..

id expect this to get close to 465hp anyway to be honest, g power have probably lowered the rating just to be sure incase it doesnt make 470 just to not get any upset customers....... these asa blowers make a sick sound..... very very similar to a turbocharger..... OP, you rock, well done, well done for going a different route...

i now understand what your saying...... excuse me.

Anyway forget the HP, your TQ will rock far more than your headline HP figure.....

wowza!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!
im really suprised the stock oil cooler wasnt uprated........ you may want to look into that and uprate to a new unit, you will easily get the oil into the red @ this power level, my sterab unit adds nearly an extra litre of oil and in really hot weather i can get it to the 1 oclock with a trackday.... the quality of this kit screams German made!!! Really impressed, love all the water line routing...... your doing a really good job!!

keep the pics coming.... amazing quality......

Can't w8 till it's functional and getting some #'s out. Any plans for a ventilated hood? That blower sits well, but I can imagine some huge underwood temps, or?

op are you sure that top water pump is going to be ok?? the pipeing looks alittle restricted, any other way to get a nicer bend in that top water pipe??? Remember thats cooling your charge air so you dont want any restrictions at all, it seems ok from the pics but just be 100%......
