ok, spring is coming and im getting excited

finally. March is here. one more month to go and i will have the coupe out again!!! i have a few new mods this year but nothing crazy. i just cant wait to drive it again. new carbon skirts are already installed, new design diffuser and a new set of Morr wheels.

Looking forward to seeing your diffuser. Did you get it custom made? I have been looking at getting one but there isn't much out there for our cars and what is out there is way too expensive.

I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit before I start on mine.
It will integrate the cooling from the diff & have 5 vanes.

I've been slowly purchasing parts over the past six months. The car is finally out of storage and in the shop for the installs. Believe me, I am also pretty excited!

I think the gf is even more excited to get the parts out of our apartment

very simple really. just order any carbon sheet with dimensions that fit lenght fo your car and then dremel the shape you want and finish edge with round rubber tubing. i can send you info where i got the carbon from if you like

the exhaust is aggressive and much louder than stock. here is a cold start clip of my car. there is highway drone at 2500k....but I don't keep my car at that rpm haha

cant sell you my seats though. I LOVE the imola and carbon trim together

Sounds amazing! If it weren't because I have sensitive ears and any slight drone bothers the crap out of me, I'd be all over this exhaust. It looks amazing as well. I'm actually signed up on the group buy for the Stromung exhaust. Sounds nice and deep but no drone reported. Yours is probably louder, considering how small the canisters look…they are basically all pipes and tips

By the way, is that a cf roof or a wrap job?

I had the stromung before. Awesome exhaust, but wasn't exotic enough for me. Best exhaust for a daily driven car imo. The roof is actually painted high gloss black

If you ever heard RPI in person you would understand. Stromung is fantastic and sounds like a true sports car. The RPI adds the extra flare to make it sound more exotic.

I wish I could compare both in person. Sadly these cars are so rare that I never see another M Coupe on the road, and if I do, the chances of it having either exhaust are slim.

Is the "drone" of the rpi loud/bad? Does the stromung truly not drone at all?

No plans to get into making diffusers....
The GB on the fang fill was enough for me.
I don't mind sharing the process though & may be able to come up with some templates.
Still not 100% on the design yet.
I'll likely do a mockup in cardboard 1st & see where that leads
