The one tiny thing about the tekarbon spoiler is the subtly( too small ), every time I look at it I wish it was bigger

I'm working on getting a proper scan of the car. If I can get that, doing the design in CAD should be no issue. I actually work in the industry and know digital surfacing designers that can do the work. I will need manufacturing specifications before doing the design such as minimum draft, material thickness, min radii.

Hey fellas I am so glad to see that this is starting to get moving, because I have bad news, my guy who I had been trying to get in touch with gave up on a project on an M4 and basically told me that he isn't touching CF again but would do it in metal... I'm not one for a metal spoiler so I'll look for someone else on my end if we can get a design done but please don't count only on me, I started this thread because I had a name and a number of a would be contact and hopes that more would come forward in this thread. Now that my contact has fallen through, I may only end up being a buyer.

Now on to design, you guys saw this photo of the slek designs one... I think the reason I'm in love with it is because the back of the spoiler is the best part it looks like it's part of the trunk. I think the new design you guys are looking at is good but it has to go the the very edge of the trunk and have no negative space to the top so it looks like one piece.

Slek one does not look bad but it's a bit to tall in my opinion and i think the notched design looks better overall.

Sounds like the manufacturer we had in mind has dropped out. Not sure if a design is necessary without someone to produce it.

What about the guy that did the spoiler for roadster? He could be of help since he already did the same thing but for roadsters.

Is there anyway you could send me this profile? I work for a company that has its own foam milling machine and can make a 3D model for us.

For sure I. Can send this to you. Keep in mind it was built to rough scan of the car so fitment will be off. Probably good enough to get a decision on the design though. Give me a couple days to clean it up and make it a solid model. I looked into getting the back end of my car professionally scanned and they wanted $1000. I respectfully declined. If anyone else on here can get a scan of the car I'll commit to completing the design.

I contacted the organizer of the Roadster spoiler group buy to see if he and his manufacturer would be interested in the manufacturing portion. I suspect he will want some assurance on the interest out there. If we get his help than all we would need now is 3D data for the car. The link below could be a lead, says it is maximally accurate but cost about $130 to download.

Let's see where this goes.

Sorry was really busy at work last week, didn't get a chance to clean up the design for you to mill out in foam. I should have time this week.

I know a lot of shops who can make the spoiler in CF. I actually have a place that wont charge for the mold if I get 5 people or more.
Those who are helping in making this come true, we should start a group chat so we can make this move forward quicker.

This is the only design that would work for me, to fit past my wing.
It would have to be on the flat spot/lip only.

Don't change just for me though, I can always fab a one off.
