Rev drops when shifting

When you guys are shifting at around 4k+ how fast do your revs drop? Do your revs drop fast enough for you to catch the revs when you are done shifting to the next gear? Reason I ask this is that I noticed that when I shift too fast sometimes I have to wait for the revs to drop before releasing the clutch to match the revs on the upshift.

You should be shifting at 7.8k. Problem solved.

Don't worry about it.

I can't say I have a problem if I'm shifting at around 4K. Then again, I don't usually shift too fast or hard. If the revs aren't dropping fast enough for you, turn on the AC.

It all depends on the weight of the flywheel and what you are experiencing is going to be normal for pretty much any car.
