thekurgan, you hit the nail on the head; after taking the car in for testing it was determined the tires had developed a "cupping". Once the balancing was done on the front the steering was superb, I really like the new bushings!! Thanks guys for all your input.

^^^ You'll have to give us a long term review on those bushings; our roads here in Crapifornia are so bad, I couldn't imagine urethane bushings of any kind, but I bet the front end is pretty tight on that ride now. Nice.
