Valve Stem Options No TPMS

I have my tires on order and will have them by end of week and ready to install this weekend. The standard option is black rubber valve stems. Any ideas on valve stems that would look better? I have seen the Huf/Beru valve stems like the ones below, not sure if they work without TPMS though. This is the first time to get a set of wheels so I'm a bit of a noob...

the easiest way is to move the stems from your OE wheels c/w TPMS to the new wheels.

However, I found the OE stems too long for my wheels there is an OE alternative.

Ultimately i deleted TPMS and went with RAYS valve stems.

I think the no TPMS is the best plan. After installing new TPMS with stems on one Krissi's set of wheels just over 6 months ago, I've already got a failure on one of the modules. Tracing which part of this system, antenna or module, that failed isn't something I want to bother with (not to mention it just makes me cranky). My answer? Black electrical tape over the warning light until I can see if there's a way to code it out.

I think Shipkiller pointed out that TPMS light only registers if the tire is off by ~20%, so by the time the light comes on a tire would be down to ~25 lbs anyway. Too bad we can't retrofit the display to show actual pressures--the TPMS reads this--it's just not displayed, but I think Ship found the data is there. That would actually be useful information!

My plan? I simply check the tire pressure weekly. Since my wife has "princess and the pea" sense for alignment and handling (she can tell if the alignment is off by small fractions, and if pressure is up or down), a large loss of pressure would be noticed quickly, and the weekly check makes sure a slow leak or ambient temp changes are accounted for.

Thanks for the input guys, but I think I misled by my question. My 2005 doesn't have sensors in the wheels. Just a straight valve stem so I don't have or need TPMS sensors. BUT, I like the valve stems used for them instead of the cheap looking rubber valve stems they throw on when you have the tires installed. I was curious if I could use the valve stems without having sensors.

Check out some of the local tire stores, should be easy to find a set of metal stems that you like. If not, onlines sources are plentiful.

I checked with tech support on the valve stems and the Huf/Beru RDV001 valve stems will work without the TPMS sensors. So, if you just want a good looking set of valve stems to compliment your wheels, it's a more affordable way of going about it. And they are certainly a quality valve stem. They come in black, silver and gunmetal.

Will these Huf/Beru stems work with the stock TPMS?

I'm ordering a set of ARC-8's and want to avoid the look of the too-long stock valve stems - plus, going with gunmetal wheels, so I want dark stems.
The Huf/Beru ones are 43mm.
Any idea of the length of the stock stems, or the shorty OEM stem (PN: 36-14-6-792-829)?

OEM ones are $52, while the metal ones are $50, so leaning toward those.

Don't know how long stock are, but I purchased my stems from here. And they were very helpful on fitment. I purchased the same ones you posted and they turned out great...
