Ok, I think I've decided on the Miro 942 and will be ordering them tomorrow. Here's a pic of them on an E89. Two questions-offsets of +35F/+35R should be ok, right or should the rear be +40? The wheels are 18x8.5F and 18x9.5R. The rears should fit with the 255/35's should they not?

255/35 will look stretched depending on the tire. the 942's are street wheels only. do not track the car with them. also, do not install rft tires on them. you might also consider doing a good search here on zpost. the owner of the z4m that m.o.d.b.argains has on their website wasn't too pleased with the quality of the wheels. he has a full review in here somewhere. i'm not saying that they are bad wheels, or that m.o.d.b.argains is a bad company... i am saying that when you're looking at wheels that are made in china, it's best to have as much info as possible.

also, the pic you posted of the e89... from the m.o.d.b.argains website nonetheless... has actual BMW 19" 313 Performance wheels. not 942's.
link to owner's car... http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthre...&highlight=313 you can tell by the color of the non-machined portions... 313 = ferric gray 942 = much darker shape of the "step" just behind the spokes near the barrel of the wheel... 313 = "step" is more complex, having a rolled inverse curve 942 = "step" is flat (a.k.a. easier/cheaper to manufacture). shape of the spokes... 313 = narrow spokes w/ the bend closer to the barrel 942 = slightly wider spokes w/ the bend halfway between the hub and barrel and i think you can even make out the "BMW Performance" logo just outside of the valve stem on both the front and the rear wheels. (the pic is low res, and it's hard to be sure. not all the 19" 313's have the logo.) i find it interesting that the website's owner is marketing 313's as 942's. seems semi bait-and-switch to me.

Great info, thanks for letting me know. While I will most likely not track this car, I still want to get a "reliable"-yet cost effective, make of wheel. Sounds like I should research a little more. Luckily, its winter and I dont have to be in a rush. So then are your wheels style 313 and if so, will they fit a non-m without spacers, etc?

i do not have an ///m, so... yep! they'll fit just fine w/o spacers.

Dorifto I love this wheel...going to pick up a set as a track dedicated wheel. Is this the standard 18" setup off tire rack?
believe its something like 18X8.5et38 and 18X10et25... |
