Blackstone Report for M54 3.0i

Attached is my Blackstone oil analysis for my dealer-maintained 2004 3.0i. My lead and copper content seem to be a bit high. Has anyone heard of rod bearing issues on the M54 engine? This is definitely worth a followup analysis, but my next sample won't be for another year so I figure I'd get some opinions in the mean time.

My last two Blackstone reports on my ZHP with the M54 have had high lead so I consulted my trusted and well-known indie and he said that they've never heard of the M54 having the same issues as the S54. Although they are related the bottom ends are significantly different. They told me not to worry unless I begin to have some sort of ill effects, although, with all the maintenance I've put into that car to make it go another 150,000 miles I'd rather replace bearings before I have any ill effects. I'll be interested to see if anyone else has any input.

I've got 30,000 showing on my M54 but 20,000 or so of those miles are track miles. Never had an oil analysis on the car although I have Blackstone do my Detroit Diesel every time. Pretty hardy engine apparently. I do, however, run diesel 15w40. The only issues I'm aware of are oil starvation in tight turns and the oil pump nut backing off---both hard use issues which the aftermarket has addressed. I haven't addressed either of these issues, I'll probably wait for a blow-up or at least for it to start leaking oil before I drop the pan.

Would love to hear your results. Not sure if you posted elsewhere already, but I didn't see it.
