Since i picked up a set of ARC-8s recently and i won't be driving my car in the winter i decided to throw my stockies on my dad's e46 325i.
I wasn't expecting them to fit at all, but it turns out the fronts fit perfectly (even with a 245/40R18 tire!!!) without any rub, it actually has the same amount of clearance from the fender liner as it did on my M coupe . However the rears are sticking out a tad and ever so slightly rub over big dips or bumps in the road.

In short, am looking to straight up trade my 2 rear rims 18 x 9 ET 30 for your 2 front rims 18 x 8 ET 42. My rears are in good condition, always kept clean, no cracks or bends, slight curbage on each, nothing major. Your fronts have to be in at least as good of a condition as my rears for a straight up trade.
For anyone who tracks their car and wants to use their OEM set as a dedicated track set this is a cheap way to get started on a nice squared setup.
