Mid-late next week I will have my scoop to sell. It's currently on my car undergoing a VT2-500 install, so my mechanic should have it in the box of leftover parts after removing it for the kit.

Black. I only installed it ~2 months/1,500 miles ago, too . It's a bit of a frustration to install since it's so cramped and you have to drive the screws into plastic without a straight line to force down on them, but I was pleasantly impressed with the performance improvement.

Congrats on your SC purchase. Hope your install is going smoothly.

I won't worry too much about installing since I'll be taking the bumper off to do the Mstache and scoop at the same time.

I'm thinking SC later this year as well since my warranty just expired a month ago... How long did it take to arrive at your installation site after you paid?

Ah, having the bumper off will make the screws trivial, but it would probably be advantageous to mark the positions beforehand. It's possible for the kidney grille not to fit. It uses all available space and to get optimal airflow must be aligned in a particular way that isn't the only way it will fit.

There were some delays associated with my kit. The worst of them was that one part (the oil cooler) wasn't available to ship and ended up being two weeks late from ESS' supplier. It was then supposed to be delivered last Friday (at least they rushed it, from Norway), but of all things, mechanical problems with the plane in Paris delayed the shipment until Monday. Fortunately Alekshop is already starting on it this weekend and it should be done by Wednesday at the latest. It's sad that the DME has to be sent to ESS even though I have the Direct Flash unit (I'm not sure why this is).

The turnaround time of the first box was 1.5-2wks from order to delivery, but it's not a high-volume kit so you may well experience delays as individual parts are rounded up and sent later.
