Nice, I just upgraded from 18's to 19's but downgraded on performance but this is my weekend car pretty much.

Good luck with your search... ADVAN makes some quality 18's...Of course Volk and Work do as well.

good point about Volks. I haven't found a site for Advans in BMW fitment though, maybe you can help? Are they cheaper than Volks? Ideally I don't want to be spending $3k for a set of wheels

They should be in the $500-$900 range per wheel just like Volk is if you live in Hawaii. I use to never go through Mackin and they were much cheaper even the used Volks forums in Japan had them dirt cheap. I bought a 17/18 inch set of used/new Volks with tires for $1200 back in 2006 straight from Japan.

I think anything over $1000 for one Volk 19 inch wheel is a $300-$400 markup from just 7 or 8 years ago and way to much IMO. People pay that so Mackin continues to mark up the prices which is total bullshit IMO. In 2005 a 19 inch set of Volks were like $2500-$3200 brand new. Thats what they should be.

I saw some guy selling a set of 18 inch Volks for like $4000. In reality its a $2000 set regardless. Kids pay it though and have no idea of what they cost to make, ship, and middleman....

I have gone through close to 100 sets of Volks, ADVANS, Work, DPE, HRE, SSR, etc since the 1990's

Apex look better in person than in pictures. Besides Apex, I would get the Advan RS for about $2600. They look good on the Z4.

I agree the APEX look much better in person. After running them on my 18" track wheels I'm debating getting a set of 18" to replace my street 19" HRE now, going to see if HRE will make me a custom set of 18s, if not I'll get another set of Apex.

Advan Racing is coming out with the TC-III as stated in an above post. We also get in TE37s fairly often, but they get swooped up rapidly as well. Let us know if you have any questions on those wheels

New advans/volks are pretty pricey, I'm gonna look on the used market for a bit first
