UPDATED Can't Figure Out
Recently refreshed my entire suspension on my z4c minus inner tie rods. Car drove great and I took it in for its alignment. About 100 miles or so after the car now makes a clicking noise and feeling in the front left. Does it only when driving over large bumps/humps or applying brakes, never when just driving. I've taken everything apart multiple times trying to see what the issue is with no luck. Also the more I drive the worse it gets. That makes me think brakes or bearings but both seem smooth. Inner tie rods wouldn't possibly do that?
Any ideas would be a huge help! The sub frame reinforcement plate bolts were loose on the drivers side. Tightened and all is quiet and well again. Last edited by Our03z4; 04-19-2021 at 08:31 PM.. |

Check sway bar end link nuts are tight.
Need a thin wrench to get to the hex between the rubber boot and the rod to hold the stud as you tighten the nut.
