I wonder what the story was for the low miles. I guess buying a new car, storing it for years, paying for maintenance and insurance, then selling it for $20k less than you bought it? To me it seems pointless to buy any new car and not drive it a reasonable amount.

Two years ago, my brother bought a pristine 2005 M5 with less than 500 miles on the clock. It's got around 15k miles now, no problems what so ever.

Yup, that was me a few weeks ago who found the mint condition 12,000 mile blue M Coupe for $32,000. The search is the fun part and when I find something that I don't want, I pass it on to the list.

Yeah, and I found it a few days before Bill did. In the end, I picked up that low mileage (not as low as 300 miles though) blue Z4M for 33K, but am still extremely happy with the purchase. I giggle like a schoolgirl when I get in and drive.

Best of luck, Bill.

The car has 300 + - miles on it. No, that's not a typo. He's trading it in at Kimberly BMW in Davenport on something new. The dealership really isn't sure what to ask since this is a unique situation but they're starting at $39,500 to see if there's any interest at that price (I'd guess the answer would be yes). If you're interested, contact the salesperson at the dealership who contacted me - Brandon Prible at 563-505-5683. He seems like a decent guy and would probably be happy to help make this car go away without having to advertise. I am not affiliated with the seller in any way - just wanted to pass on a lead to the M Coupe brethren.

Okay, now that I've made someone's day special, please continue to put out good white M Coupe karma so that something like this in white falls into my lap.

Bill Schaefer
There's one for sale in Vancouver...check out the Canada regional forum. The guy traded it in and its at a dealership now I believe.

Ok guys here is the deal. The car has been serviced regularly, had multiple oil changes, had the brake fluid changed, etc. So though it has not been driven - it was well cared for and dealer has all service records. I have been trying to work a deal on this car, and I hope I am not jumping the gun - but I just got a text that said I own the car!!!!!!!

I should get it here in the next few days. I will post pic's as soon as I actually have some. I am completely stoked, and I owe WildBill the beverage of his choosing if we meet up sometime. Thanks Bill!!!! This was one hell of a lead and I got the car before the car was ever on the market.

More to come!

I'm happy someone on the list snagged it. It's always nice to keep it in the family if possible. I look forward to seeing many pics of this brand new machine.

Grats goomanchu! If it has full service records then you got a rare gem! Enjoy the *** out of it, and don't forget to finish breaking it in haha Oh and make a thread and post pics when you get it, we like pics.

My first coupe with 3700 miles was a pain with a constant CEL. The replacement that had 15000 has been bulletproof.

Man, someone just bought a new car! Wow!

Seriously, it does still have the break-in period ahead of it, and 1,200 mile oil, transmission, and differential fluid change.

Thanks for the congrats guys! and I agree with all the cautions....
First thing the car is going to get is all new fluids and a good once-over to make sure all seems in order. I am going to drive and service it following normal "break-in" policies as if it were a new car. But - yes, I do intend to drive it! it won't take long to double the mileage. Ha! I used the link in the "good to be rare" posting to check the build numbers on this car. That is a very cool link. www.bmwmdata.com
As you guys already know - 1815 USA M coupes in the 3 year run. Only 68 were Sepang Bronze. 20 of those had dark Sepang interior. 11 in 2006, 7 in 2007, and 2 in 2008. This is one of the 7 cars made in '07. Very cool. Car should get here first part of next week, then get checked out for a day or so, then out for a drive....

Congrats on the new ride. I drive the last 2008 Sepang with dark Sepang made in 2008. You have me beat on the mileage. Mine had about 5K when I bought it. You will love this car! Welcome to the Sepang Bronze Club!

That's awesome that the 3 of us have sepang bronze with dark sepang interior AND low miles! it's a very classy combo. Not knocking light sepang either, which had the option of being extended leather* unlike ours.

Bought mine with 9k, I feel a little bad racking up the miles (up to 16k) but I did buy it to drive it. And drive it I do, every day

* And someday I'm doing custom extended leather with dark brown stitching to match.

Dam...this beats my purchase of a 2006 Z4 with 4013 miles on it...I thought I had the deal of the century! This guy kicked that out of the park!

Like other I can wait to see the car!!
