Slow convertible top?

All of the sudden, my 04 is taking a significantly longer amount of time to raise the top. (2x as long, easily) - It sounds like the motor is running at a slower speed than before.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the motor is about to die on you (happened to me last year). Plenty of threads on this forum about the issue, $1300 - $1600 fix at the dealer but there is a DIY thread here if you're interested in tackling the job yourself.
