My light is blinking now that I got new rear tires...why?

I just changed my rear tires since my old ones are almost bald. Now when I take turns and a good speed my light(A with arrow point around) blinks. I can feel my abs pulsating. It didn't do that before. I'm wondering if my tires gripped so good before that it didn't trigger the system to activate or is it because it was slipping before and now it is gripping better so that system is detecting a difference in the left and right rear tire and that is causing it. I'm just curious why now and not before.

The link doesn't seem to work. Yeah I think it is my traction control light. I gonna guess it is registering that I am slipping so maybe the new tires need to break in or maybe they just don't grip that good. They put the tires on with 38 psi, so maybe that is too much. I have 235 35 19s so I shouldn't be slipping that much.

what tires did you change to? did you change any sizes? 38 psi is a lot and as the tires got hotter the psi rises so your around 40 psi hot. i would lower that a little. it could need to be broken in.

ok good idea. I will lower them. Is 34 psi about right. I think that is closer to what I had it at before.

I had a set of Michelin PilotExalto summers on another car of mine and they took about 500 miles until I felt confident with them. I haven't noticed this with other tires including a set of new PS2s. Both were from tirerack.

I suppose the traction control could be acting up if you went to some harder, higher tread wear tires that aren't quite as grippy.

Ok good. I just lowered the pressure to 33 on the left rear because it was higher than the right rear for some reason. I just got them a few days ago so it will probably take another week of cornering to break it in. Thanks everyone. Oh yeah, I got some tires called Wanli. I'm sure they are probably not the best=/.
