If it means anything to anyone, the seller notified me that the unit ended up not being for sale due to his other FI plans falling through. While my paypal was locked and loaded since day one, I don't blame the seller, those things happen. We'll all remember this thread as The Great Evolve Airbox Tease Thread of 2015 (TGEATT '15 for short). Like a good stripclub, I prefer a proper tease over no tease at all

I see a few Evolve boxes come up for sale more frequently in M3F.

Was hesitant to bother even inquiring since those sourced for an E46 M3.

Anybody know if there's any difference between an Evolve box for a Z4M vs. one for a E46 M3? Aside from the tune?

You know, it may not be too bad. This thread has some info -> http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=703886 but if you dig around further, it seems the Alpha N tune was the main issue before. Now that it seems our DME has been cracked for Alpha N, it is much more feasible to take an E46 CSL airbox and install. Not sure if crfine88's didn't fit properly because it was a poor replica, or if it simply is not entirely compatible. Both VAC & Evolve say their E46M units fit, which is interesting.

Iirc, that was Evolve's whole point of it all. The E46 bolted rght up, and even matched up to the factory ram air if i rememeber correctly.

not to hijack the thread but i just bought an 05 m3 6spd and it has the evolve csl airbox that i want to sell. I saw there was a long line of buyers and the original poster sold his. I was on here looking for Imola red z4m seats and would take those on a deal for the csl airbox (obviously you would have to throw cash in). I have all the documentation from the previous owner who bought it new from evolve. i'm looking for 3,000 dollars + s/h
