What aftermarket air intakes are there for the Z4M?
What aftermarket intakes are there for the Z4M? I'm also thinking about getting the RPI air ram to go with the intake.

I have a Group M and love it. I added it before upgrading my exhaust and the sound it gave was amazing. I also have the RPI Ram air which is nice but the Group M is the thing to get. I haven't dyno'd it but I definitely have the seat of the pants feel of more power.

I've read about the Group M Intake, but was wondering if there's others that are as good.

My Group M was bought through the Vendor Sales Section here at ZPOST. I considered it to be priced high ($980) but decided to make the purchase anyways.
Install was very easy, less then 30 minutes. I am happy and the sound made me forget all about the price. I've seen a couple intakes out there but I like the looks of the Group M. I'll post some photos later today.

To Void/Matty C.....
Is it worth the money? Ive been eyeing them up since I bought my Z4MC and every time I convince myself not to get one (getting married soon...must save..already have the M...) I relapse into longing after one a few weeks later. Do you guys have any before/after clips? How does it sound inside the cabin? What revs do you need to be at before you hear it at full song? Thanks in advance. |

I think what it comes down to is, for sound anyway, you know how when you first drove the M and the engine didn't really sound like what you were expecting? It was a little high pitched and mechanical. With this intake it sounds more like what you would expect. $1000 though? That's a 50" plasma screen you're bolting to the engine. I think I'm going to wait for a used one to pop up somewhere. In the mean time I'm getting the RPI scoop. The question now is, what color?
