One of former my neighbors was an engineer who worked for BMW in Spartanburg at the time the Z3 was developed.
While I enjoyed my Z3, he reminded me that the factory was staffed with guys who were flipping burgers shortly before their BMW gig. He felt that the Z4 was by far the better car with more model specific engineering and skilled assembly teams. |

Nothing wrong with flipping burgers, it's an honest living. Kids gotta get a start somewhere. And it has to be said, I do enjoy said burger every now and then.

My Z4MC is solid and quiet (except for the mentioned seat squeak as I run it all the way back). Sure can't say the same for any Z3 I've been in.
Better look to why your Z4 is loose and noisy and spruce it up bit. |
