Colour Matched Kidney Grills

As part of my Z4M Bumper Swap, I have considered colour matching the kidney grills. I currently have 3 sets and it's only a 15 second swap, so I have lots to play with. I have seen a red Zed with matched grills and it looked fine.



I have used shadow chrome over the chrome grill trim


There is always Black


Or even Salt & Pepper

I think if you're going to go with the white grill, you have to go all white or at the very least, white with black trim. I don't think it looks good with the chrome.

I think all white isn't going to come off very well (not enough contrast). The all black I think looks VERY clean on white cars, so it's hard to beat.

I like the white with chrome trim but to really make a decision I think I'd have to see it on the car to see what else you've got going on.

biggest for me is I'd have to see it one the rest of the car. what color are your wheels? black/darker = keep the grills all black (even without black wheels i think this is the best option). if you keep the white grills, I think to set off the white, black trim would be better than the chrome. but that's my opinion, not my car.

If Spring ever arrives, I'll do the bumper install.
Right now Im leaning towards the flat black kidney grill with a gloss black trim.
