Great points. I'm stuck in the "you only live once" mentality. Even if I love my car, I should sample lots while I'm still on the planet...

My E89 transaction will be cash as I do not want another car payment, so lease isn't an option.

When I was looking to get my Z4MR someone on here told me something to this effect regarding my 335 vs the Z4M and I think it applies here.

The e89 is like a very good looking, very nice chick you would take home to meet your mom. The e85 is a highly skilled professional whore.

Decided to trade the M this weekend on a 2010 Z435i. Silver on black, 14k miles. I'll definitely miss the M, but in the end I just had to scratch the convertible itch

Congrats! I test drove a brand new (yellow!) Z4 3.5si convertible this summer. That thing was impressive, though I agree with the "whore" comment made earlier. I love my 2007 summer MR whore toy. ;-)
