best tranny fluid
my Z4 just turned over 40k ,and i'm planning on changing the "lifetime" transmission fluid, i have already purchased the filter,gasket,etc..,i've read various posts here and on one other site about improvements in the way the car shifts after the fluid change,i figure now is as good a time to change it ,i have looked at Redline D4 ATF,as well as Royal Purple ATF, and this one here also, could i get some suggestions based on your experiences,my car is a weekend driver ,an automatic ,just a cruiser . thanks.

royal purple OMG. make my shifts smooth as butter. since yours is a automatic not sure if it would make a difference. but BMW should use Royal as the stock fluid IMO

i don't think i ever heard of a bad thing about Amsoil. It is one of those brands that i will use if i can't find anything better, or supposely to be better.
