Finally got rid of the led strip light..
Last June I got the angel eyes mod from Eric (Tekarbon) and had the great idea of getting the led strip light on my headlights.
So a week ago I bought another car to get my Z4 fixed I backed up and scratched a tree on the side (small bump on the quarter panel) and they are painting the front bumper since it had some small rock damage. So I dropped off the headlights with Eric and he removed the led strip light and put back the regular turn signals. I figure I would get the turn signal smoked since I had put a vinyl overlay on the led strip light. Total cost $150 to remove the led strip light and $55 for getting the turn signal smoked. |

Good choice to get them removed, I must say lol. Much nicer looking without them. Enjoy

he sent his lights to a company called Tekarbon, they do the install and they have a few different options available...
a few of us on the site have also cut open the headlights on our own and made our own mods, its not that hard to do. |

When LED strips came out on the Audi's several years ago, they looked tasteful and good. Now, everyone has some version of the LED strips and they all look horrible, even the Audi's.
Your car looks much better. |

I think they all look cheap. Not sure what they are thinking with them, that and at what point are they considered bulbs? The law reads that one can only have so many lights on the front of a car and what colors are acceptable. I have seen way too many cars with green halos and leds as of late.
