How many people named their car
So who named their car... What did you name it and why?
I realized I haven't a name for mine. All of my bikes have a name, but I actually don't have a name for the hellrot e36 m3 or the z4mc

Back in the day I had an old mustang that gave me a lot of trouble. It had many names, none of which are suitable for print.

I think it's cute :P But I'm childish lol
I have a name for all of my bikes, but neither of my cars have a name. I had just referred to the e36 as the M, but now with the z4mc it doesn't work as well

I name all my cars, and have since my first. I always choose a "B" name for some reason.
When I got her, I took some time to drive her and get a feel for her before naming. A friend of mine said she felt Brynn and Bianca are two good names. Brynn sounds like the lovely refined lady in short skirt and pearls. She followed up by saying that Bianca sounds more like the leather and spiked heels Crazy Ex kinda thing. You love her, but you're also a little afraid. After my first run at an autocross with the nanny's off and crap, dead tires... I named her Bianca. The list so far: Beth 68 VW Custom Beetle Bird 05 Lada Niva Betty 03 Stage 3 WRX Beatrice 99 Birkin S3 (Lotus 7 replica) Bess 12 Jeep JK Biene 08 BMW 135i Bernadette 06 Cayman S Bianca 06 BMW Z4MC

These threads pop up from time to time, I name all my vehicles:
2007 Z4 - Lucy Wife's 2006 Scion TC - Cloie 2011 Tundra - Moby Duck 2009 RZR S - Courage (for sale) 2013 Jagged X - Jagged (original I know) Older cars 2008 X3 - Black Betty 2011 328ix - Rose 2005 Tundra - Big Black Bart 2000 4Runner - Silver (as in Hi ho Silver away) I must drive a vehicle to determine its name, the name will come to me with the character of their drive or nature. Heck, I even named one of the 3series coupes I drove as a loaner, she was a slut named Celeste. She liked to be driven hard. Cars tend to be female, trucks male, the off-road toys are just smaller trucks. Steve |

Always referred to my 2 seaters as "the rocket sled", and the Wife's Suburban or Expedition as "the Mother ship".

My first 2 cars didn't have names or references. I only did that after college.
1993 ZJ was aptly named "Jeep" 2004 ZHP was aptly named "ZHP" 2011 MCS was just "Mini" 2014 X1 is sometimes referred to as "Blue" otherwise just "X1" 2007 Z4MC is "Zim".....after the cartoon character from Invader Zim. Dangerous enough to do damage won't ultimately conquer the world.

Funny. A guy in a parking lot says, "hey, what is her name." i said huh. He says, "what is her name?"
I said, she doesnt have one. And he says, "she should." It made me feel bad. I never name my cars. I do love her though. |
