a question about transmission...

Hello all,

I have a 3.0 si coupe with automatic shift.

Today, I tried to change gear when my speed was about 100km.

First I pressed on the shift paddle on the steering wheel. I pressed a couple of times and changed gear to M1 then kick down to gas pedal. The engine was make extremely high sound(actually very nice sound and my car accelerated instantly to 160-170km. At the same time DSC lighting on on the screen (I think its rear wheels spinningg)

I just want to ask that making downshift manually (for example from M6 to M1) and kicking down gas pedal make any disaster to transmission or engine?

On the other hand I make manual gear shifting after I remove my foot from gas pedal. If I make shifting with kick down to gaz pedal at the same time what would be happen? Is it dangerous?

Regards

Kadir
